Our smallest oil absorbent boom absorbs oil, fuel, diesel, petrol and other hydrocarbons.
The absorbents are made from meltblown polypropylene and colour-coded white. They absorb up to 20 times their weight in oil. However, the actual absorbent capacity is based on liquid viscosity, temperature and specific gravity. The oil and fuel absorbents are hydrophobic. Therefore, they do not absorb water. As a result, they are perfect in wet environments such as ponds, drains, lakes, rivers and creeks.
These absorbents are highly flexible. As a result they mould for drains, machinery and pallets. They can also block spills from entering drains.
